RESTYLANE® REFYNE with Lidocaine

RESTYLANE® Refyne is indicated for injection into the mid-to-deep dermis for correction of moderate to severe facial
wrinkles and folds (such as nasolabial folds) in patients over the age of 21.

RESTYLANE® Refyne is designed to temporarily smooth out wrinkles and folds, particularly the “laugh lines”, and
restore a natural, soft look to the face. It has been shown to maintain this effect for up to 12 months.

RESTYLANE® Refyne is a sterile, biodegradable, viscoelastic, non-pyrogenic, clear, colorless, and homogeneous soft
hyaluronic acid gel with a moderate lifting capacity. It contains 20 mg/mL sodium hyaluronate and 3 mg/mL lidocaine
hydrochloride.

Injection:

1. Needle Selection: Use sterile needles appropriate for the targeted area and depth.
2. Injection Technique: Various techniques can be used depending on the desired outcome and wrinkle type, such as
   Linear Retrograde Technique, Serial Puncture Technique, or Bolanus Technique.
3. Injection Depth: Inject into the mid to deep dermis, avoiding superficial dermis or blood vessels.
4. Injection Volume: The amount used varies depending on the severity of wrinkles and desired correction.

Post-treatment:

• Cooling: Apply a cool compress to minimize swelling and discomfort.
• Massage (Optional): Gentle massage of the treated area might help distribute the product evenly and minimize
  swelling.
• Results: Optimal results typically take 2-4 weeks to become fully visible as the product integrates into the
  tissue.

Contraindications

• RESTYLANE® Refyne is contraindicated for patients with severe allergies manifested by a history of anaphylaxis
  or history or presence of multiple severe allergies.
• It may contain trace amounts of gram-positive bacterial proteins and is contraindicated for patients with a
  history of allergies to such material.
• RESTYLANE® Refyne contains lidocaine and is contraindicated for patients with a history of allergies to such
  material.

After-care

Within the first 24 hours, patients should avoid strenuous exercise and extensive sun or heat exposure. Exposure to
any of the above may cause temporary redness, swelling, and/or itching at the treatment sites. If the treated area
is swollen, an ice pack may be applied to the site for a short period.
