Restylane® Lyft with Lidocaine is injected into the skin with an ultra-fine needle to plump the skin to smooth
away wrinkles and folds such as the lines from your nose to the corners of your mouth and is injected with an
ultra-fine needle or a small, blunt-tipped cannula to increase the fullness of your cheeks. Restylane® Lyft with
Lidocaine may also be injected, using an ultra-fine needle under the skin to address volume deficiency in the
back of the hand.

• Restylane® Lyft with Lidocaine is indicated for implantation into the deep dermis to superficial subcutis
  for the correction of moderate to severe facial folds and wrinkles, such as nasolabial folds.
• Restylane® Lyft with Lidocaine is indicated for subcutaneous to supraperiosteal implantation for cheek
  augmentation and correction of age-related midface contour deficiencies in patients over the age of 21.
• Restylane® Lyft with Lidocaine is indicated for injection into the subcutaneous plane in the dorsal hand to
  correct volume deficit in patients over the age of 21.

Restylane® Lyft with Lidocaine is a sterile gel of hyaluronic acid generated by Streptococcus species of
bacteria, chemically cross-linked with BDDE, stabilized and suspended in phosphate buffered saline at pH=7 and
concentration of 20 mg/mL with 0.3% lidocaine.

Injection:

• Needle Selection: Use sterile needles with a size and length appropriate for the targeted area and depth
  (refer to product information). Common options include 25-gauge or 27-gauge needles with lengths of 13mm to
  25mm.
• Injection Technique: The optimal technique depends on the desired outcome and treatment area. Here are some
  common approaches:
  • Linear Retrograde Technique: Injections are made in a backward direction along wrinkles or folds for
    correction and volumization.
  • Bolus Technique: Deeper injections with small deposits of filler for volumization of cheeks and other
    areas.
  • Serial Puncture Technique: Multiple small injections placed in a grid-like pattern for broader tissue
    stimulation and volumization.
• Injection Depth: The product should be injected into the mid to deep dermis or even the subcutis depending
  on the desired outcome (refer to product instructions). Avoid superficial dermis or blood vessels.
• Injection Volume: The amount of Restylane® Lyft used will vary depending on the patient’s facial anatomy,
  desired correction or volumization, and product characteristics. Start with a low volume and gradually
  increase if needed to achieve the optimal result.

Post-treatment:

• Cooling: Apply a cool compress to the treated area for 10-15 minutes to minimize swelling and discomfort.
• Massage (Optional): Gentle massage of the treated area as instructed by the practitioner might help
  distribute the product evenly and minimize swelling.

Contraindications:

• Restylane® Lyft with Lidocaine is contraindicated for patients with severe allergies manifested by a
  history of anaphylaxis or history or presence of multiple severe allergies.
• Restylane® Lyft with Lidocaine contains trace amounts of gram positive bacterial proteins, and is
  contraindicated for patients with a history of allergies to such material.
• Restylane® Lyft with Lidocaine is contraindicated for patients with bleeding disorders.
• Restylane® Lyft with Lidocaine should not be used in patients with previous hypersensitivity to local
  anesthetics of the amide type, such as lidocaine.

After-care:

Consider the following after treatment with Restylane® Lyft with Lidocaine:

• Cold compresses (a cloth dipped in cold water, wrung out, and applied to the injected area) may be used
  immediately after treatment to reduce swelling.
• Avoid touching the treated area within 6 hours following treatment so you do not accidentally injure your
  skin while the area is numb. After that, the area can be gently washed with soap and water.
• Avoid exposure of the treated area to intense heat (sun lamp or sun bathing) until there is no redness or
  swelling.
• If you have previously suffered from facial cold sores, there is a risk that the needle punctures could
  contribute to another occurrence. Speak to your physician about medicine to prevent this from happening
  again.
• Avoid taking aspirin, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications, St. John’s Wort, and high doses of
  vitamin E supplements for 1 week after treatment. These agents may increase bruising and bleeding at the gel
  injection site.
• After receiving treatment in the hands, avoid strenuous use of your hands as it may increase the risk for
  delayed onset adverse events.
