FILLMED® POST PEEL Neutralizer

After a procedure involving a chemical peeling treatment, this product is applied to soothe the skin and avoid inflammation. During the process, the skin’s pH is also balanced. Generally, 4 chemical peels are performed at 2-week intervals. This Post-Peel formula is applied every time a chemical peel is used. This solution takes seconds to use and is very easy to remove.

Fillmed® POST-PEEL halts the action of the chemical peel while soothing skin to calm irritation and prevent discomfort. A liquid made of sodium bicarbonate and other ingredients. Use Post-Peel after a chemical peel to neutralize and soothe the skin.

1. Fillmed® should only ever be applied by a medical professional, such as a plastic surgeon or dermatologist, who is authorized in accordance with local regulations.
2. After applying the chemical peel solution to the patient’s skin and leaving it on for approximately 3 minutes, or the duration instructed by the manufacturer, spray the post-peel solution onto a cotton pad or compress.
3. Using the sprayed cotton pad or compress, gently apply the solution to the treatment area.
4. It is important to apply the post-peel solution to all areas where the chemical peel has been applied, while avoiding the eyes and mucous membranes.
5. Finally, wet another cotton pad or compress with water and rinse the solution from the patient’s skin.
6. For optimal results, use a pre-peel solution, such as Fillmed® Pre Peel before applying the chemical peel product.

Contraindications

• Fillmed® Post-Peel is safe, though there are some mild potential side effects that may occur, as well as some intended side effects.
• While most patients respond well to this product, there are a few precautions that should be taken before application or during treatment.
• Before the application of the product, it is important to discuss the patient’s medical history as well as any history of allergy or sensitivities.
• This solution is only intended for external use and contact with the eyes and mucous membranes should be avoided.
• This post-peel solution should only be administered by a medical professional and should not be used on patients who have a known allergy or hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients in this product.

After-care

• Some people may suffer from irritation, but this symptom tends to resolve itself quickly.
• However, after this treatment, the skin will be susceptible to sun damage. Patients should avoid direct sun exposure and wear a sunscreen with SPF 50 or higher following treatment.
• Additionally, in rare cases, hypersensitivity may occur. If this does happen, patients should seek immediate medical attention, as this may result in a life-threatening situation.
