FILLMED® PRE PEEL

Fillmed PRE PEEL is a facial treatment that contains gluconolactone. This product is used prior to a chemical peel to prime the skin. This preparative treatment is suitable for use on all skin types.

• The pre-peel preparation is applied to the patient’s skin before the chemical peel. It is intended to clean the skin, remove excess oils, and adjust the skin’s pH level.
• Fillmed Pre Peel treats age spots and hyperpigmentation.
• Fillmed Pre Peel can be used in conjunction with other brands of chemical peels and is safe for all skin types.

Fillmed Pre Peel contains phenoxyethanol and sodium methylparaben. It has an overall pH value of 4. Gluconolactone, a polyhydroxy acid, actively conditions the skin and reduces the pH. This product is used prior to a chemical peel to prime the skin. This preparative treatment is suitable for use on all skin types.

• Fillmed Pre Peel can be used with all Fillmed products, including Fillmed Light Peel for sensitive skin and Fillmed Time Peel for wrinkles.
• Only a licensed medical professional should apply the Fillmed Pre Peel.
• Apply it to the skin of the patient immediately after applying any chemical peel solution belonging to the Fillmed brand or another.
• Squeeze some of the solution onto a cotton pad, then apply the solution evenly to the entire patient’s face.
• Follow the instructions on each product. Fillmed Post Peel can also be applied after the chemical peel solution has been applied.

Contraindications

• This product should only be used externally and should not come in contact with eyes or mucous membranes.
• This product should not be used if a patient has allergies or hypersensitivity to any ingredient.
• Patients should be warned to avoid UV radiation for the following days.

After-care

• Some people may suffer from irritation, but this symptom tends to resolve itself quickly.
• However, after this treatment, the skin will be susceptible to sun damage. Patients should avoid direct sun exposure and wear a sunscreen with SPF 50 or higher following treatment.
• Additionally, in rare cases, hypersensitivity may occur. If this does happen, patients should seek immediate medical attention, as this may result in a life-threatening situation.
