Ellanse S (a Poly-ɛ-caprolactone-based dermal filler) is an injectable implant, indicated for subdermal implantation in the face for the lasting correction of wrinkles and facial aging signs or conditions.
A treatment takes approximately 30 minutes, depending on the area treated. Ellanse S helps to bring back natural-looking beauty through immediate restoration of volume and stimulation of the body’s natural collagen production. By rebuilding and rejuvenating, layer by layer, Ellansé creates a firm foundation for lasting results. With its unique formulation that stimulates your body’s collagen to brighten your skin and improve its volume, firmness, and elasticity, it provides short-term and long-term benefits to the skin.
SMOOTHER, MORE SPHERICAL MICROSPHERES. Ellansé S is composed of smooth, spherical PCL particles with a diameter of 25-50μm. Since rough surfaces and irregular-shaped particles can cause adverse reactions (such as nodules and decreased collagen deposition), it’s been specifically designed for optimum compatibility with the body.
IMMEDIATE AND SUSTAINED PERFORMANCE
The only differentiator between Ellanse S and Ellansé M is the initial polymer chain length of the PCL.
Based on the area chosen, Cannula or direct needle approach is the best. It depends on the preference of the practitioner and the area of treatment. It is best to avoid using Ellansé in combination with or anywhere else where facial rejuvenation was previously done. It is also best not to use Ellansé closer to sites where other products have been used.
Like all procedures of this type, there is a possibility of adverse events, although not everybody experiences them. These adverse events include but are not limited to infection, minimal acute inflammatory tissue reaction (redness, swelling, rash, edema, erythema, lumps/nodules, etc.), pain (which may be temporary or persistent in nature), transient hematoma or bruising.
OTHER POTENTIAL ADVERSE EVENTS INCLUDE:
Minimize exposure of the treated area to sun or UV radiation, as well as to extreme cold temperatures. In case of any redness or swelling that persists beyond 48 hours (about 2 days), please consult with the practitioner.
