Product Authenticity
Buying injectables online means trusting a supplier you cannot see. We would rather you did not have to take our word for it. This page explains where our products come from, and what should arrive at your door.
Where our products come from
We buy in bulk from licensed distributors operating in regulated markets. The products are made by the same manufacturers you already buy from – Allergan, Galderma, Merz, Teoxane, IBSA and others – in the same facilities, to the same specifications. The reason our prices are lower is not the product. It is the market it was priced for.
This model is known as parallel trade: buying legitimately in a market where the manufacturer prices lower, and supplying it in a market where they price higher. It is a long-established practice in pharmaceutical distribution and it is why the same sealed box can cost substantially less through us than through a local distributor. We name it plainly because you deserve to know how the saving is generated.
How we keep that chain authentic
Low pricing only holds up if the sourcing behind it does. Four controls sit between the distributor we buy from and the box that reaches you.
- We buy only from authorized distributors. There is no unverified reseller anywhere in the chain.
- Temperature-sensitive stock stays inside a validated cold chain from the point of purchase, through our warehouse, to the courier who delivers it.
- Every unit is logged by its LOT and batch number at each step, so the path a given product has taken can be reconstructed in full.
- Nothing is listed for sale until it has passed a quality check on arrival at our facility.
That is what stands behind the sealed box you receive.
What should arrive at your practice
Every parcel we send should meet all of the following. If any one of them is not true, contact us before you use the product.
The original manufacturer’s box, sealed, with tamper-evident seals intact.
A LOT number printed by the manufacturer on the outer box
For temperature-sensitive products: thermo-regulated packaging with ice packs, arriving within the required temperature range.
How to verify a product yourself
Check the seal. The outer box should be factory-sealed and the tamper evidence intact. A box that has been opened and re-taped is a reason to stop and call us, whatever else looks right.
Why some boxes are not in English
Some products ship in non-English packaging. The formulation, the manufacturer and the manufacturing standard are identical – the difference is the language printed on the box and the market it was priced for. Non-English packs come from markets where pricing is regulated, which is precisely why they cost less.
If you have any doubt
Do not use the product. Photograph the outer box, the LOT number, the tamper seals and the unit itself, and email our support team at info@medsupplysolutions.com or call +1-844-226-8277. Report within 72 hours of delivery so your case can be assessed under our Refund & Replacement Policy. We would far rather examine a parcel that turns out to be fine than have you inject something you were unsure about.
Why this matters
An injectable goes straight into a patient, so the margin for a wrong unit is zero. A single counterfeit or mishandled product can harm the person on your table, damage the reputation you have spent years building, and expose your practice to regulatory trouble it never saw coming. For a wholesale supplier, checking where a product comes from is not a service added on top of the job – it is the job. Everything on this page exists so that the question “is this genuine?” has already been answered long before the box is opened in your treatment room.
Frequently asked questions
Yes. We buy from licensed pharmaceutical distributors, and every item arrives sealed in original manufacturer packaging with a traceable LOT number. If you ever want to confirm a specific unit, our support team can trace its LOT number back through our supply records – this page explains how.
Buying a product legitimately in a market where the manufacturer prices it lower, and supplying it in a market where the manufacturer prices it higher. Same manufacturer, same product, different pricing market.
Each product page lists what you need to make a decision – active substance, strength and packaging – taken from the manufacturer’s own documentation. How we source that documentation and check it before it goes live is set out in our Editorial Policy.
We supply the manufacturer’s original packaging, and LOT number, which is what allows a product to be traced. We can also provide sourcing documentation for a specific LOT on request from your account manager.
Do not use it. Contact our support team within 72 hours of delivery so your case can be assessed under our Refund & Replacement Policy, which sets out when a refund or replacement applies.
