DYSPORT® 300 Units is a botulinum toxin type A injectable neurotoxin used for both aesthetic and therapeutic purposes. It works by temporarily inhibiting acetylcholine release at neuromuscular junctions, thereby reducing muscle activity and softening the appearance of dynamic wrinkles or alleviating muscle spasticity.
It is supplied as a lyophilized powder for reconstitution and intramuscular or intradermal injection. DYSPORT is widely trusted for treating glabellar lines cosmetically and approved for a broad range of neurological and muscular disorders, including cervical dystonia, spasticity, and blepharospasm.
DYSPORT® is known for its fast onset, long duration of action, and diffuse spread, which can benefit treatment of larger or more dynamic muscle groups.
300 Units of botulinum toxin type A per vial
Fast onset: 2–3 days for many indications
Duration: Effects last 12 to 16 weeks
Wider diffusion compared to other toxins, ideal for larger muscle areas
Indicated for aesthetic and therapeutic use
Supplied as a freeze-dried powder for reconstitution
DYSPORT® is indicated for both aesthetic correction of facial wrinkles and therapeutic management of neuromuscular disorders. It is approved for use in adults and pediatric patients, depending on the indication.
Aesthetic Indication:
Moderate to severe glabellar lines in adults under 65
Therapeutic Indications:
Cervical dystonia in adults
Upper and lower limb spasticity in adults
Pediatric lower limb spasticity (≥2 years of age)
Blepharospasm and hemifacial spasm
Chronic sialorrhea in adults and pediatric patients (≥2 years)
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to botulinum toxin A or excipients
