STYLAGE® SPECIAL LIPS BI-SOFT® with Lidocaine

In general, Stylage® Special Lips Bi-SOFT® Lidocaine results can last from 6-9 months. The duration depends on the individual’s lifestyle, age and skin type.

Stylage® Special Lips Bi-SOFT® Lidocaine is designed to enhance the lips, the application area is around the mouth. The gel is used to:

• Eliminate wrinkles
• Add volume to the lips
• Correct asymmetry
• Treat the wrinkles of the oral commissure
• Raise the corners
• Give a clear contour
• Moisturize the surface of the lips

The perioral area is an area of high dynamic activity, thin skin, and vessels close to the surface, so the high quality, safety, and addition of the antioxidant mannitol is particularly important in lip contouring. The presence of mannitol makes it possible to extend the duration of the preparation from the standard 6 months to 9 months and more.

Stylage® Special Lips Bi-SOFT® Lidocaine contains 18.5 mg/ml HA and 0.3% lidocaine solution. This product provides visible lip enhancement, beautifully redefining the contours of your lips. The proportions of your upper and lower lip can be improved naturally. In addition, the hyaluronic acid filler provides your lips with the necessary moisture and a natural shine. The result: your lips feel soft and supple again. Furthermore, you can inject the product into your lips to add volume at will. It contains 0.9% mannitol, an antioxidant that delays the natural degradation of hyaluronic acid. In this way, longer treatment results can be achieved.

• Filler is injected into the pre-cleaned and treated skin with antiseptic.
• Additional anesthesia is not required, as the corrector already contains lidocaine.
• Into or around the oral mucosa.
• Recommended input technique: linear, multipoint, or a combination of these techniques.
• The injection is carried out at shallow and medium depths, as well as in the submucosal layer.
• The treatment of wrinkles is carried out in the techniques that the specialist chooses depending on the task at hand.

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity to one of the components
• Skin infection near the site of injection
• Patients susceptible to keloid formation
• Pregnant or lactating women
• Allergy or anaphylaxis
• Bleeding disorders
• Autoimmune disorders
• Antibiotic therapy

Also, some precautions need to be kept in mind before STYLAGE® injection treatment:

• Avoid taking Aspirin, NSAIDs, Platelet Aggregation Inhibiting Drugs, Anticoagulants or Vitamin C in the week preceding the injection appointment, as many of these have the potential to increase the risk of bruising.
• Read carefully and sign the free and informed patient consent form provided by your practitioner.

After-care

Some recommendations following a treatment with STYLAGE® products:

• During the first day, do not touch the injection sites, do not massage, do not use decorative cosmetics and do not consume alcohol and coagulants.
• For 1 week avoid hot, spicy, coarse, salty food and drinks.
• In the 2 weeks following treatment, use a sunscreen with the highest SPF possible to protect your skin.
• For 2 weeks refrain from visiting the sauna, solarium, beach and open water reservoirs.
• Avoid exposing the treated area to intense heat (UV, sauna, steam room) or extreme cold, at least until any potential post-injection swelling or redness disappear.
• Keep your practitioner informed of any “abnormal” developments in the treated area (Talk to your practitioner about any possible adverse effects).
