The duration of the effect of a Stylage® L Bi-Soft® treatment is up to 12 months. It’s very individual and depends on many factors, such as the patient’s skin type and structure, age, lifestyle, the area treated and the injection technique used by the practitioner.

Stylage® L Bi-Soft® is an injection into deep dermal:

• Deep to very deep wrinkles
• Severe nasogenian folds
• Oral commissures (marionette lines)
• Hand rejuvenation, volume loss treatment on the back of the hands

Stylage® L is an injectable implant indicated for deep to very deep wrinkles and/or for volume restoration (cheeks, contours of the face, cheekbones) by deep dermal injection in the face. Stylage® L can also be used in techniques for rejuvenating the hands by sub-cutaneous injection in the back of the hand.

Stylage syringe with so-called Bi-SOFT delivery system is a patented injection delivery system. Now Stylage syringes have a new design and provide better precision, comfort and control for the injectors. The concave-shaped surface of the finger flange with the lifted edges helps avoid a lateral sliding of the doctor’s fingers, and hence, make the injections with Stylage safer and more precise.

Injection depth: superficial dermis or derma-epidermal junction

Contraindications:

VISCODERM® hydrobooster must not be used on patients affected by:

• Hypersensitivity to one of the components
• Skin infection near the site of injection
• Patients susceptible to keloid formation
• Pregnant or lactating women
• Allergy or anaphylaxis
• Bleeding disorders
• Autoimmune disorders
• Antibiotic therapy

Also, some precautions need to be kept in mind before STYLAGE® injection treatment:

• Avoid taking Aspirin, NSAIDs, Platelet Aggregation Inhibiting Drugs, Anticoagulants or Vitamin C in the week preceding the injection appointment, as many of these have the potential to increase the risk of bruising.
• Read carefully and sign the free and informed patient consent form provided by your practitioner.

After-care:

Some recommendations following a treatment with STYLAGE® products:

• In the 2 weeks following treatment, use a sunscreen with the highest SPF possible to protect your skin.
• Do not wear make-up during the 12 hours following injection.
• Avoid exposing the treated area to intense heat (UV, sauna, steam room) or extreme cold, at least until any potential post-injection swelling or redness disappear.
• Keep your practitioner informed of any “abnormal” developments in the treated area (Talk to your practitioner about any possible adverse effects).
• Avoid vigorous sports during the first week after injection.
