Apply a layer of solution and let it dry. A white mask can appear on the face, which is the end point of the peel. The white mask can be cleaned with water. This has no effect on the final result of the peel. Neutralise the peel with Neutralizing Lotion.

This treatment, typically consisting of 4-8 sessions spaced 15 days apart, aims to regulate skin oiliness, promote acne healing, and reduce the visibility of acne scars.

Acne and hyperkeratotic conditions in sensitive and high phototype skin. Indicated for oily skin prone to acne and hyperkeratolytic conditions in high phototypes and/or sensitive skin yet it uses a new vehicle, macrogol (polyethylene glycol), which makes it suitable for all skin types, even the darkest and most sensitive ones.

Ideal for oily, acne-prone skin, this solution addresses the issue of excessive oiliness, leading to an uneven skin tone and enlarged pores. It works to decrease the accumulation of bacteria and inflammation associated with acne.

This formulation is oil soluble, penetrating sebum glands, unclogs the pores, and reduces the open and closed comedones mainly indicated for active acne, comedonal acne, and scars. Acne and hyperkeratotic conditions in sensitive and high phototype skin. It uses a new vehicle, macrogol (polyethylene glycol), which makes it suitable for all skin types.

1. Clean the skin with Sensyses Classic Cleanser.
2. Degrease the skin with Degreasing Solution. This is an optional step.
3. Protect sensitive areas with Silkses Moisturising Skin Protector (lips and nostrils).
4. Measure 2-3 ml of this solution and pour it into a glass bowl.
5. Apply a uniform layer on the face.
6. A white mask can appear on the face which is the end point of the peel. Fanning can be done to quickly dry the peel (Refer Appendix).
7. The white mask can be cleaned with water. This has no effect on the final result of the peel.
8. Neutralise the peel with Neutralizing Lotion.

Sealing (Optional)

• For sealing of the treatment, please refer to Appendix.
• The contact time of the sealer used in the above step should be 6-8 hrs.

Post contact time, the patient can clean the face only with water or soap-free cleanser.

Contra-indications

• If pregnant, please inform the clinic prior to the treatment.
• For a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the treatment, apply a sunblock with SPF50+.
• From a week prior to the treatment, avoid exfoliation, hair dyes, facial masks, depilatory creams, glycolic acid, or lactic acid applications.
• From 2 days prior to the treatment discontinue application of Retinol and hydroquinone.
• For 24 hours prior to the treatment, do not wax or shave.

After-care

• Cooling: Cool compresses for redness (1st few days).
• Gentle Cleansing: Wash gently with lukewarm water only for 24 hours, then use a mild cleanser twice a day after.
• Moisturize: Apply fragrance-free moisturizer 2-3 times a day, petroleum jelly at night for extra protection.
• Sun Protection: Avoid sun for a week, then always wear SPF 30+ sunscreen.
• No Scrubs: Avoid harsh scrubs or exfoliating products for a week.
• Makeup: Wait to apply makeup until peeling subsides (check product instructions).
• Saunas/Exercise: Avoid saunas, steam rooms, hot showers, and strenuous activity for a week.
• Peeling: Peeling starts in 2-3 days, lasts up to 7 days. Don’t pick at peeling skin.
• Itching/Discomfort: Cool compress or calamine lotion for itching. Over-the-counter pain relievers for discomfort.
• Call Doctor: If you experience unusual swelling, redness, pus, or prolonged pain, contact your doctor.
• Follow-up: Schedule a check-up appointment in 7-10 days.
