CROMA POLYPHIL™ EYE

A total of three to four sessions, one every 14 to 21 days is recommended. However, this recommendation varies depending on the individual needs of the patients.

POLYPHIL™ EYE is an injectable formula developed by Croma to restore tired eyes. This cocktail can be used prophylactically to improve the quality of the skin around the eyes e.g. crow’s feet and wrinkles. At the same time, the serum is suitable for improving the structure and elasticity of mature skin.

POLYPHIL™ EYE is a highly effective serum which is suitable against all kinds of signs of aging and fatigue in the entire eye area. Unlike other product containing polynucleotides, this cocktail is especially suitable for people with sensitive and delicate skin, as well as for the thin skin around the eyes.

In just 3-4 treatments, crow’s feet and wrinkles under the eyes can be permanently filled and brightened. Eyebrows and drooping upper eyelids can also be treated. It is not a filler, but an injection for general stimulation of the eye area as a preventive and healing measure. POLYPHIL™ EYE can also be used as a preparation for filler, laser and other cosmetic treatments. This has the advantage that each patient can decide for themselves how intensive the procedure should be. In addition, it is possible to repair areas of skin with high fiber content, such as scars.

Contraindications

• People who tend to develop hypertrophic scarring or have a susceptibility to keloid formation.
• People with a history of auto-immune disease or who are receiving suppressants or immunotherapy.
• People who are known to be hypersensitive to hyaluronic acid, lidocaine hydrochloride or to amide-type local anaesthetics.
• Women who are pregnant or breast feeding.
• People under 18 years.
• People with infections or inflammations (acne, herpes, …) in the skin areas to be treated.
• People receiving platelet aggregation inhibitors should not be treated without consulting their doctors.
• People who have previously received permanent fillers in the area of fine lines and wrinkles to be treated.
• In areas presenting cutaneous, inflammatory and/or infectious processes (e.g. acne, herpes).
• People who underwent a laser therapy, chemical peeling, dermabrasion or mesotherapy.

After-care

In order to achieve optimum treatment results:

• You should allow your skin to rest and not touch the treated areas on the day following treatment.
• Not apply any make-up to the treated skin areas for at least 12 hours.
• Avoid sunbathing and high temperatures as well as saunas and steam rooms for the first week after treatment.
• In case you experience any post-treatment discomfort, you can apply an ice-pack for a brief period on the injection site to help soothing any swelling.
