BELOTERO® VOLUME

• BELOTERO® Volume is specifically created to restore facial fullness in areas with extensive volume loss. Belotero Volume has optimal modelling capacity and is intended for injection below the surface of the skin to add volume and to fill wrinkles. Belotero dermal fillers can be injected into different areas to restore volume, e.g. cheeks, temples and chin. The product contains lidocaine, a powerful anaesthetic, for a more comfortable injection.

• BELOTERO® Volume is an injectable resorbable implant indicated to restore volume, as for example to enhance the cheeks or the chin.

• BELOTERO® Volume is presented in a single use pre-filled glass syringe, sterilized by moist heat. Each box contains one instruction leaflet, one or several syringe(s), two traceability labels per syringe and sterile CE-marked needle(s) and/or cannula(e) for single use only.
• BELOTERO® Volume is composed of cross-linked sodium hyaluronate: 26.0 mg/ml Phosphate buffer pH 7 q.s.: gel volume. The amount of the gel in each syringe is stated on the external box.
• BELOTERO® Volume is a sterile, non-pyrogenic, viscoelastic, colourless, transparent cross-linked sodium hyaluronate gel of non-animal origin in a physiological phosphate buffer.

• Check the integrity of the inner packaging and the expiry date for both the syringe and the needle prior to use. Do not use these products if the expiry date has lapsed or if the packaging has been opened or damaged.
• BELOTERO products must be injected into a healthy, non-inflamed and previously rigorously disinfected skin. It is recommended to use one of the supplied needles.
• BELOTERO dermal fillers should be injected slowly. The quantity of the gel to be injected depends on the area to be treated and the correction to be achieved. It is recommended not to inject more than 3 ml per treatment site at each session.
• Do not over-correct. Gently massage the treated area after the injection to distribute the product uniformly.

Contraindications:

• BELOTERO Volume is contra-indicated:
  • In case of known hypersensitivity to one of the product’s components, especially to sodium hyaluronate.
  • In pregnant and breast-feeding women.
  • In young patients under 18 years old.
  • In patients presenting a general infection.
• Do not inject BELOTERO dermal fillers into blood vessels.
• Do not inject BELOTERO dermal fillers into the glabellar region.
• Do not inject BELOTERO dermal fillers into the tear-trough region.
• Do not inject BELOTERO dermal fillers into the lips.
• Do not inject BELOTERO dermal fillers into areas presenting cutaneous problems of an inflammatory or infectious type (acne, herpes…).
• Do not inject BELOTERO dermal fillers for correction of superficial wrinkles and fine lines (injection of the product into the superficial dermis).
• Do not inject BELOTERO dermal fillers into an area previously treated with a permanent dermal filler.

After-care:

• The patient must avoid applying makeup for at least 12 hours after treatment as well as avoid saunas, Turkish baths and prolonged exposure to the sun or UV rays for 2 weeks after the treatment.
• Patients should also avoid putting pressure on and/or handling the treated area.
