Bellast® Soft L is a dermal filler used to fill fine wrinkles and facial lines (such as crow’s feet or perioral wrinkles) by injection into the superficial to mid dermis.

Bellast® Soft L is indicated for;

• Correction of crow’s feet and fine lines
• Correction of perioral wrinkles
• Lip enhancement

The effect after the procedure lasts for 9-12 months.

Bellast® Soft L contains Lidocaine to make dermal filling for patients completely pain-free. Each mL contains 24 mg of Cross-linked hyaluronic acid and 3 mg of Lidocaine hydrochloride H.A 18mg. It is created from a pyrogen-free, sterile gel of cross-linked hyaluronic acid that is not derived from animals. They are biocompatible with the human body and naturally disintegrate over time. They can be used to reduce facial wrinkles and creases while still maintaining skin elasticity.

For Lips:

For injection technique, you can choose to use a cannula to avoid multiple sites of injections and bruising. It also minimizes soft tissue damage and is comfortable for the patient. However, many practitioners opt to inject even without the cannula. However, it is important that you change the needle after every 3 pricks to avoid discomfort and painful injection with a blunt tip.

For Crow’s Feet, Perioral Lines, and other Fine Lines and Wrinkles:

The filler can be injected into the superficial dermis in multiple bolus droplet technique or in a linear fashion in the targeted areas.

Contraindications

• Inflammation or infection in intended injection sites.
• Autoimmune disease.
• Pregnancy, lactation.
• Taking anticoagulants (blood thinners)
• Tendency to form keloid scars.
• Hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid.
• Herpetic infection in the exacerbation phase.

After-care

Avoid sun exposure or extreme UV light exposure for the next 24 – 48 hours. Slight redness, swelling, or bruising can occur at the site of injection. Ask your patients to avoid strenuous activities for the next 24 – 48 hours. Avoid any other procedure in or surrounding as the area of treatment for the next 1 week. If bruising and redness persist beyond a week, do encourage the patient to visit for a follow-up.
