AZZALURE® 2 vials
Azzalure is indicated for the temporary improvement in the appearance of moderate to severe glabellar lines (vertical lines between the eyebrows, or “frown lines”) seen at frown and lateral canthal lines (crow’s feet lines) seen at maximum smile, in adult patients under 65 years, when the severity of these lines has an important improvement in the psychological impact on the patient.
Azzalure® is a Botulinum toxin type A which is a naturally occurring bacterial protein. Tiny doses of this substance are injected just under the skin into the muscles that are treated to reduce wrinkles. It specifically blocks the nerve impulse, allowing these muscles responsible for the excessive contractions that cause wrinkles to relax.
Azzalure should only be administered by physicians with appropriate qualifications and expertise in this treatment and having the required equipment. A vial of Azzalure should be used only for you and only for a single treatment session. The effect of the treatment should be noticeable within a few days after injection.

About the product
Azzalure® is a local muscle relaxant adapted from the botulinum neuromodulator type-A of Dysport® and is specifically designed for use in aesthetic indications. AZZALURE® contains an active ingredient called botulinum toxin type A, is derived from Clostridium botulinum, a type of bacteria. The toxins role is to stop nerves from carrying out their normal function. By preventing the release of significant chemicals, muscle contraction is also inhibited. The positive effect is to make muscles between the eyebrows relaxed, diminishing the appearance of vertical frown lines. The effect is only temporary and further treatments can be given every three months. Azzalure® temporarily blocking the release of acetylcholine from nerves, helping prevent muscle movement in the area and relaxing the skin. Improves the appearance of moderate to severe glabellar lines.
