Aliaxin® SV Superior Volume is a filling gel that is injected into the subcutaneous layer in order to restore volume in the required proportions.

Aliaxin® SV Superior Volume is indicated for:

• Volume restoration and the filling of cutaneous depressions and wrinkles
• Facial reconstruction of volumes in the event of light-to-moderate lipodystrophies, i.e. due to HIV treatment
• Augmentation of cheeks, cheekbones, and facial contours, as well as the filling of very deep wrinkles

Aliaxin® SV Superior Volume is a filling gel that is injected into the subcutaneous layer to restore volume. It is a viscoelastic hyaluronic acid gel, sterile, apyrogenic, and of non-animal origin. The product has an excellent lifting capacity, making it suitable for defining facial contours, sculpting cheekbones, and crafting sharp jawlines. It also stimulates collagen production and replenishes skin hydration.

For injection technique, you can choose to use a cannula to avoid multiple sites of injections and bruising. It also minimizes soft tissue damage and is comfortable for the patient. However, many practitioners opt to inject even without the cannula. It is important to change the needle after every 3 pricks to avoid discomfort and painful injection with a blunt tip.

Contraindications:

Aliaxin® SV Superior Volume must not be used for:

• Injections other than subcutaneous ones, and more specifically, it must not be injected into blood vessels. Do not inject intravascularly.
• In the periorbital and glabellar area.

Do not inject in cases of:

• Known hypersensitivity to any of the components,
• A history of severe allergies or anaphylactic shock,
• In combination with skin peeling treatment, laser treatment, ultrasound-based treatment, or a technique based on an active dermal response,
• Inflammatory and/or infectious cutaneous problems on or near the area to be treated (acne, herpes, etc.) or tumors

Do not inject into patients:

• Suffering from autoimmune diseases,
• Suffering from epilepsy which is not controlled by treatment,
• That tend to develop hypertrophic scars,
• Suffering from porphyria,
• That are pregnant or breast-feeding,
• That are under 18 years of age.

After-care:

After treatment, patients must be advised:

• Not to apply makeup in the 12 hours following the injection
• Not to expose themselves in the two weeks following the treatment to extreme temperatures (intense cold, sauna, hammam, etc.) or sunlight, nor to take sunbed sessions in the week following the treatment.
• Do not apply pressure to the treated area.

Following the treatment, and until the complete absorption of swelling and reddening, the implanted areas must not be exposed to makeup, excessive heat (sun, UV tanning sessions, or laser) or intense cold. After use, needles and syringes must be disposed of according to the procedures indicated for hospital waste.
