RETISES CT YELLOW PEEL can be used as a stand-alone peel as well in combination with other peels to increase the effectiveness of the protocol. The Yellow Peel is then applied and left to act on the skin for a period of about 12 hours. This procedure is repeated at a fixed frequency, typically every 2 weeks, up to 8 times in all.
For treating skin aging manifestations, hyperpigmentations, and distension stretch marks.
Retinol is a retinoid precursor to retinoic acid. It accelerates mitosis, increases enzymatic activity, and normalizes keratinization. Nourishes the skin, prevents the appearance of wrinkles, diminishes the depth of existing wrinkles, and improves the elasticity of the skin. In addition, retinol attenuates the spots caused by excessive exposure to UV rays by regulating the proliferation and mobility of melanocytes. Peeling combinable with other anti-aging, repairing, or depigmenting treatments (chemical peels, laser, IPL).
- Apply 1⁄2 or 1 ampule of vitamin C and wait a few minutes.
- Apply a thin coat of retinol cream on the area.
- Allow to act for approximately 8 hours. Wash the treated area.
Contraindications
- Refrain from using retinol products if you have sunburn, damaged skin, or other skin irritations.
- Use SPF 30 and don sun-protective clothing and hats to minimize sun exposure.
- Consult your healthcare provider regarding the optimal timing for applying moisturizer within your skincare regimen.
After-care
- Avoid using abrasive products such as scrubs or exfoliating sponges for 7 -10 days.
- Avoid products such as retinols and glycolic acid 10 days.
- Vitamin C Serums may be resumed after 48 hours.
