Wegovy is a prescription-only, once weekly weight loss injection which contains Semaglutide. It's taken once a week, and has clinically proven to be an effective weight loss medication. Wegovy can be used by adults who have a body mass index (BMI) over 30 (or a BMI over 27 with at least one weight-related comorbidity (such as high cholesterol, hypertension, type 2 diabetes, obstructive sleep apnoea etc).
