This Profhilo® product involves a comprehensive treatment plan that aims to rejuvenate and tighten skin on the body. The program generally includes two sessions of injections, which are typically spaced one month apart. This formulation consists of a highly concentrated hyaluronic acid gel (32 mg/ml) which is injected into the target area. Following the injection sessions, patches are applied to soothe and hydrate the skin. In addition to the injections, the Profhilo® Figura Cream is recommended for daily application on the treated area. This cream should be applied twice a day to further enhance the effects of the treatment and rejuvenate any tired or sagging skin. This package offers an all-round approach to skin care, focusing not just on the face but the entire body. It’s designed to counteract skin laxity while improving surface hydration and elasticity.

For optimal outcomes, it is suggested to conduct two sessions with a gap of four weeks in between. The treatment should be reiterated every six months. Generally, the effects persist for 6-12 months, contingent on the degree of skin looseness.

Here is a general guide on how to use Profhilo®:

1. Evaluate the patient’s skin condition and determine the suitable treatment areas.
2. Cleanse and disinfect the area of treatment.
3. Using a fine needle, inject the product into the appropriate layer of the skin.
4. For other parts of the body, like the knees, there isn’t a prescribed injection protocol.
5. In the treated area, the active ingredient disperses within the tissue, where it begins to work.

Contraindications

• Do not use PROFHILO® if:
  • You are allergic to hyaluronic acid, or any of the ingredients listed.
  • You have severe allergies manifested by a history of anaphylaxis or history or presence of multiple severe allergies.
  • You suffer from bleeding disorders.
  • An active inflammatory process or infection is present at specific sites of treatment.
  • This product must not be used in concurrence with treatments such as laser resurfacing and medium deep skin-peeling.

After-care

• An initial cycle of two treatment sessions 30 days apart is recommended.
• Things you should avoid:
  • Physical strain, headfirst movements, and sports the day of and the day after treatment.
  • Sauna, steam bath, icy temperatures, or UV radiation by the sun or a solarium for two weeks after the treatment.
  • Dental procedures for two weeks after the treatment.
  • Filler injections in the same area, micro-dermabrasion, chemical peel, IPL two weeks after the treatment.
  • Fractional resurfacing 4 weeks after the treatment.
• The volumizing outcomes from PROFHILO® have been shown to generally remain for up to 4 weeks after the first course of treatment, however please consult your Medical Practitioner to determine the best cycle of treatment.
• The physical effects can be shortened due to sun exposure (UV rays). After injection, protect the treated area from the sun using appropriate protection steps, including application of sunscreen.
