STYLAGE® L BI-SOFT® with Lidocaine

The duration of the effect of a Stylage® L Bi-Soft® with Lidocaine treatment is up to 12 months, but also up to 15 months for some clients. Consequently, it depends on age, skin type, sports activity and technique used.

Stylage® L Bi-Soft® with Lidocaine is an injectable filler designed to address moderate to deep wrinkles. It targets the deeper layers of your skin (dermis) to provide visible improvement in areas like:

• Nasolabial folds (lines from nose to mouth)
• Wrinkles and sagging
• Marionette lines (lines from corners of mouth down)
• Cheek wrinkles
• Hollow temples
• Nose shape (hump reduction or tip lift)
• Earlobe reshaping
• Hand rejuvenation (including volume loss on the backs of hands)

The Lidocaine in the product helps numb the area for a more comfortable injection experience.

Stylage® L Bi-Soft® with Lidocaine offers targeted correction for deep wrinkles and volume loss. This injectable filler works within the deeper layers of your skin to effectively address concerns like:

• Deep nasolabial folds
• Cheek wrinkles and frown lines
• Sagging in the chin area
• Flat or sunken cheeks
• Loss of definition in lip corners
• Uneven nose shape or size
• Earlobe reshaping
• Volume loss on the backs of hands

The formula contains 0.9% mannitol, an antioxidant that helps extend the results by slowing down the natural breakdown of hyaluronic acid. Lidocaine, a local anesthetic, minimizes discomfort during the injection process.

Stylage syringe with so-called Bi-SOFT delivery system is a patented injection delivery system. Now Stylage syringes have a new design and provide better precision, comfort and control for the injectors. The concave-shaped surface of the finger flange with the lifted edges helps avoid a lateral sliding of the doctor’s fingers, and hence, make the injections with Stylage safer and more precise.

• Stylage® L Bi-Soft® with Lidocaine is an injectable implant indicated for deep to very deep wrinkles and/or for volume restoration (cheeks, contours of the face, cheekbones) by deep dermal injection in the face.
• Stylage® L Bi-Soft® with Lidocaine can also be used in techniques for rejuvenating the hands by sub-cutaneous injection in the back of the hand.

Contraindications:

Stylage® L Bi-Soft® with Lidocaine must not be used on patients affected by:

• Hypersensitivity to one of the components
• Skin infection near the site of injection
• Patients susceptible to keloid formation
• Pregnant or lactating women
• Allergy or anaphylaxis
• Bleeding disorders
• Autoimmune disorders
• Antibiotic therapy

Also, some precautions need to be kept in mind before STYLAGE® injection treatment:

• Avoid taking Aspirin, NSAIDs, Platelet Aggregation Inhibiting Drugs, Anticoagulants or Vitamin C in the week preceding the injection appointment, as many of these have the potential to increase the risk of bruising.
• Read carefully and sign the free and informed patient consent form provided by your practitioner.

After-care:

Some recommendations following a treatment with STYLAGE® products:

• In the 2 weeks following treatment, use a sunscreen with the highest SPF possible to protect your skin.
• Do not wear make-up during the 12 hours following injection.
• Avoid exposing the treated area to intense heat (UV, sauna, steam room) or extreme cold, at least until any potential post-injection swelling or redness disappear.
• Keep your practitioner informed of any “abnormal” developments in the treated area (Talk to your practitioner about any possible adverse effects).
• Avoid vigorous sports during the first week after injection.
