Aliaxin® SR Shape & Restore must be injected into the cutaneous tissue for the supplementation of the extra-cellular root and the intra-cutaneous volumetric increase, that is, for the treatment of cutaneous depressions caused by wrinkles and scarring.

Aliaxin® SR Shape & Restore is an injectable medical device designed to restore physiological facial volume and indicated for the treatment of imperfections in the following areas of the face:

• nasolabial folds
• wrinkles around the mouth
• facial and acne scars
• glabellar wrinkles
• wrinkles on the forehead
• areas of the face which require enrichment of the facial tissue (cheeks, chin, cheekbones, lips) with temporary volumetric increase through growth of the soft tissues

The outcome of the treatment depends on the type of skin and the nature of the imperfection: the less evident the imperfection, the better the result.

The hyaluronic acid gel formulation in this treatment is specifically designed for procedures aiming to restore facial harmony. It’s an excellent choice for dermal remodeling, focusing on enhancing profile, contour, and symmetry.

Thanks to its fluid nature, it evenly disperses in the tissue, allowing for a comprehensive treatment of extensive facial areas. The aesthetic outcomes are a result of the gel’s dual action: combating skin laxity and stimulating bio-restorative processes and collagen production. This makes the results more enduring and stable.

Furthermore, the inclusion of natural hyaluronic acid amplifies the regenerative effect by providing sustained deep hydration, leading to a more naturally smooth and radiant skin appearance.

For injection technique, you can choose to use a cannula to avoid multiple sites of injections and bruising. It also minimizes soft tissue damage and is comfortable for the patient.

However, many practitioners opt to inject even without the cannula. However, it is important that you change the needle after every 3 pricks to avoid discomfort and painful injection with a blunt tip.

The product can be injected in the deep dermal layer and molded to achieve a contoured result.

Contraindications

• Inflammation or infection in intended injection sites.
• Known hypersensitivity to cheloids.
• Allergy to the components.
• Immune system illnesses.
• Serious pathological skin conditions.
• Problems with coagulation or anti-coagulating therapies in progress.
• Avoid consumption of substances which act on blood fluidity (aspirin, NSAID, Vitamin E) close to treatment to minimize the possibility of bruising or bleeding of the injected areas.
• Aliaxin® SR Shape & Restore may not be implemented in areas where there are mammary, tendon, bone, or muscular implants present.

After-care

Following the treatment, and until the complete absorption of swelling and reddening, the implanted areas must not be exposed to excessive heat (sun, UV tanning sessions, or laser) or intense cold.
