Buy GARDASIL® for the Following Indications

GARDASIL® is an HPV vaccine designed to prevent certain strains of the human papillomavirus. In the United States, only GARDASIL®9 (9vHPV) has been distributed since late 2016, providing protection against nine types of HPV. Indicated for individuals aged 9 through 45, GARDASIL® protects against cancers of the cervix, vulva, vagina, anus, oropharynx, along with genital warts and various precancerous lesions in both females and males within the same age range.

Human Papillomavirus (HPV): What To Know

HPV, a viral infection often transmitted through sexual contact or skin-to-skin contact, manifests as skin or mucous membrane growths (warts). There are over 100 varieties of HPV. The HPV-caused diseases include cervical, vaginal, and vulvar cancers in females, and also anal cancer, certain head and neck cancers, such as throat and back of mouth cancers and genital warts in both males and females.

Who Should Receive the HPV Vaccine?

The HPV vaccine is advised for individuals aged 11–12 years, with vaccination possible to start as early as age 9. It's essential for all preteens to receive the HPV vaccine to be protected against HPV infections that may lead to cancer in the future.  Additionally, teenagers and young adults up to age 26 who haven't initiated or completed the HPV vaccination series as younger should also receive the vaccine. Clinicians may discuss HPV vaccination with adults aged 27 through 45 who were not adequately vaccinated when younger. However, due to potential prior HPV exposure, vaccination in those cases is not as beneficial as in younger age.

Is GARDASIL® FDA Approved? If I Buy GARDASIL®, Is It a Safe Choice?

Yes, GARDASIL® is FDA approved. GARDASIL®9, FDA approved vaccine that prevents certain cancers and diseases caused by nine HPV types, is now expanded for use in women and men aged 27 through 45 years. During clinical trials before the licensing, the 9-valent HPV vaccine GARDASIL® was studied in more than 15,000 males and females and was found to be effective and safe. Keep in mind that GARDASIL® may not fully protect everyone, nor will it protect against diseases caused by other HPV types or against diseases not caused by HPV.  Also note that vaccination does not remove the need for recommended cancer screenings, so routine cervical cancer screenings are necessary. GARDASIL® 9 does not treat HPV infection, cancer, or genital warts.

GARDASIL® Dosage and Administration

GARDASIL® is a shot that is usually given in the arm muscle. GARDASIL®9 may be given as 2 or 3 shots. For ages 9-14, GARDASIL® can be administered in 2 or 3 doses. With the 2-dose schedule, the second shot is given 6-12 months later; if within 5 months, a third shot should follow at least 4 months after. For the 3-dose schedule, the second shot is given 2 months post first, and the third shot 6 months later. Ages 15-45 follow a 3-dose schedule, with the second shot 2 months after the first and the third shot 6 months after the first.

The Most Common Side Effects of GARDASIL®

  • The side effects include pain, swelling, redness, itching, bruising, bleeding, headache, fever, nausea, dizziness, and a sore arm from the shot.
  • Elevated temperature in the next 15 days after vaccination was reported in 10% to 13% of HPV vaccine recipients, but a similar proportion of placebo recipients also reported an elevated temperature.
  • GARDASIL® wasn't tested in pregnant women. For people known to be pregnant after starting the GARDASIL® vaccination series, it is advised to delay additional doses until after pregnancy if already started.
  • Fainting can happen after getting GARDASIL®, so, for this reason, you as the healthcare professional should ask the person to sit or lie down for 15 minutes after getting the vaccine.
